MEDICON´s osteosynthesis systems for maxillo-facial- and cranial surgery are characterised by their wide range of screws and plates for the most varied of applications. Tailor-made instruments for adjusting plates and screws ensure that the system is easy to implement and saves time. The implants are made from titanium.

All types of fractures involving the upper jaw, mandible, midfacial region and skull cap can be treated according to the latest osteosynthesis techniques using the micro- and mini plate systems. These systems are also particularly suitable for all orthopaedic and orthognathic adjustments. In addition to the well-known standard plates, a range of anatomically pre-shaped plates is available to facilitate adaption. These include, for instance, LeFort I micro plates and micro orbita plates, mini nasal plates, mini orbita plates, mini chin plates and mini jaw angle plates.

Screws, plates and instruments are placed in well-designed, easy to handle implant cassettes and instrument trays and put in corresponding Medico containers for storage and sterilisation.
